I love to work in black and white sometimes, its so versatile.

This picture came about when I was delving for ideas for a set of 3 black and white canvases someone has ordered from me.

This is not one of them,

but grew whilst searching ideas,

it´s called neurons as it developed straight from the head!

Storm, representing the swirl of dark stormclouds, over the sea, with flashes of lightening highlighting areas, and the rough movement of the sea.

Another black and white piece that devloped from a doodle in pen and ink and then with brush. Scanned into the computer and manipulated a little.

Original drawing in ink on paper then scanned and altered digitally.

Not always are our dreams of colour, mostly they are black and white.

I enjoy the impact of black and white compositions, along with my love for black and white photographs.
