A mixtures of blues and levels, different stages of light in a winter daybreak.

The paint has been scratched all over with spirals, representing clouds and sun.

In a way I suppose its a psychological theme that also represents

my creative block as is it lifting.

I have been working on some digital illustrations for a book, which has kept me away from the easle somewhat. During much needed breaks from the continous, I made a few digital images just to open my mind. Eternity is one of them, the life repeating cycles over and over again.

Neverending circles. The colours represent the mundane.

Inspired by listening to some techno/trance music. I found it quite hypnotising and enjoyable. Closing my eyes I imagined the dancers, rooted to the spot but moving to the beat

I liked the images I produced, this being one, of which the colours I liked, which represented the depth of the music. I may take this further into a series of images.

In this moment I have unfinished work on the easle and have been cocentrating more on digital imagery. Probably due to the fact that I am trying to illustrate a book. so have been captured in the digital mould. Heart is about love and its transparencies, in our everyday life.

The fading of summer and those hot sultry nights, at times so hot, that you welcome a cool temperature, The colour of the landscape doesn´t change much here, with the passing of the seasons. The hottest time has faded. The reds and hot colours relate to the time of year illustrating the peak summer.

Based on a drawing of an orchid, and the colours washed outwith a further piece of detail added.
It is a small piece as it had only been a study sketch, but at times the mind sees other things or meanings, and this is what happened here. I think this became a sub conscious image telling me to rest, after acouple of weeks of feeling unwell.

I will admit that I have been suffering a creative block and hopefully now I am emerging, too many things to do at this moment. But I am sure we all know that feeling in one way or another.

I present to you a small black and white design I did for someone, it was part of a triptych and quite plain. representing the moon phases over a month.

This picture came about when I was delving for ideas for a set of 3 black and white canvases someone has ordered from me.

This is not one of them,

but grew whilst searching ideas,

it´s called neurons as it developed straight from the head!

The colour portrays the security and need for ones television. The comfort zone, the soap opera,´what is happening in the outside world. The reliance on the "Box" that may lead us into the "twilight zone" leaving behind life as it is.

Having been a little inactive, the sun arrived and lit my inspiration. The picture is based on warm and tender thoughts. I kind of dedicate this to HH Dalai Llama, as I have been reading about and watching him on the television.Now I am not sure whether it was the sun or he that insired me. Maybe they are one of the same.

I grew to like this painting after a period of inspirational block. I found it very calming the whiteness of the doves against the sky and landscape. For me it represented an emotional liberty, maybe I will hang it in my bedroom.
